Cotton (Bavovna)

Oil on Canvas

About

This painting is described in a Poem by Anatoly Baralevich.

Our land is fertile.

An ear of corn poured by the sun everywhere
In the fields of the infinite delights us
Ears of the blue-eyed voice
Greetings in the morning every time.

In times of war, battles are fierce
We dream of peaceful days
Clear dawns, dear to the heart.
Unfortunately, this is only in a dream.

The earth is all in wounds from ruptures
A swarm of shells and rockets.
And everywhere a deadly mine hung –
Such a terrible plot of war.

Rotting, rusting iron,
Trenches, corpses of enemies –
These are the remnants of their greatness,
Food for animals, crows.

We grow cotton often.
It is our new product.
Delivery will be timely,
Where is the radar pointing?

He likes vomit the most,
Where it blooms right before your eyes.
Such S-300 leaves,
Cotton from them inspires fear.

It is of the highest quality.
And where the export gets,
There is no salvation for the rascals, –
Their end is coming quickly.

We are waiting for joyful events:
Cotton is here and tomorrow there.
Burning and tearing in Russia,
There is no peace for the enemies.
