Gift to the Bournemouth Mayor from all Ukrainians in Bournemouth

“When I arrived in the UK, I never imagined that there would be people who would help me in my time of need. But then Daria and Karol showed me what true kindness and compassion looks like. They had organized the Ukraine Relief movement, which has grown to be an award-winning charity that provides essential supplies directly to those who need it the most.

Karol’s desire to help displaced Ukrainians became a seed that planted a beautiful tree that has grown to bear fruit to help countless people. The generosity of the people of Bournemouth is awe-inspiring and proves that even in the darkest times, humanity still has the capacity to show love and support to those who need it the most.

I had the honor of presenting two of my paintings as a symbol of appreciation to the Mayor of Bournemouth during the 2022 Ukraine Independence Day Celebrations hosted by Ukraine Relief, Rt Hon Tobias Ellwood, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Bournemouth. I am grateful for the opportunity to show my deepest gratitude to those who have shown me such kindness and inspired me to pass it on to others. Together, we can make a difference in the world.”
